Our Company
Almeida Consulting has been assisting SMEs across Europe in defining and executing growth strategies since 2009. From inception we've consistently helped companies increase turnover and margins through better sales, market positioning and marketing strategy. Our services include:

. Sales Team Extension (Sales outsourcing for the UK and Central Europe);

We operate from the UK, with our main base in Bournemouth, Dorset (approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from central London, 1 hour and a half from London Heathrow and 40 minutes from the Southampton Airport).

The Role
For our portfolio we are currently recruiting a business development executive to boost our new business attraction and market penetration services. We are looking for a business development executive with a track record of winning new business and penetrating new accounts with technology based services and products. You should have experience of doing hands-on market research, profiling of key target accounts, designing value propositions and preparing and delivering compelling business presentations. You will be expected to perform these tasks both on your own or by leading a small team. As an early joiner you will be contributing to both our customers' business attraction in the UK and abroad and long term sustained growth of Almeida Consulting. The role is office based in Bournemouth with substantial travel into London, the M4 corridor and other parts of the UK. Overseas travelling may be involved but not more than once a month.

Your Skills and Personality
Ability to manage a complex agenda and dealing with multitasking on a daily basis is essential. We expect you to be an advanced user of computer tools for word processing and presentation development and customer relationship management. We expect you to be excited by the prospect of working with technology based companies.

As an ambitious start-up we are mainly looking for the right attitude rather than experience or skills; we are looking for a self-starter, ambitious and driven individual. You will be able to quickly understand our customers' offerings and business models, analyse the market forces relevant for that offer and derive plans for penetrating the market. We expect your skills of proposal and report writing to be excellent.

We expect you to have at least two years of experience of selling in a new business capture role. A degree in business administration, economics or technology is not essential but will be advantageous.

We are offering a pay package with a retainer (which will be dependent of your demonstrable experience in similar roles) and an uncapped variable component that is directly indexed to your sales results.
